My Cameras

I adore traditional film photography.  My photographic work is produced with a Holga, a Diana, a Rolleiflex and pinhole cameras.  The Diana and the Holga are plastic cameras (lens and all).  I love working with these cameras because unexpected things happen; light leaks into the camera due to "cheap" construction and the plastic lens distorts the film edge causing vignetting.  While browsing through the galleries you may notice softer edges on the images and light flares entering into the frame.  While some people may view these effects as deficiencies, I welcome them because they are evidence of the serendipitous results that can occur while using a plastic camera.  The Rolleiflex does not produce such distortions, but I enjoy working with the medium format film and antique cameras.
